The new SXL sensors from eddylab operate on a contactless, inductive measurement principle. This principle is wear-free and guarantees maintenance-free, long-term operation. With graduated measuring ranges from 25 to 400 mm and an operating temperature of up to 370 °C, the series meets the highest standards for precision and robustness.
For use in nuclear facilities, the SXL series has been developed in consideration of the regulatory requirements of international IEEE and RCC-E standards. The sensors, connecting cables, junction boxes and feedthroughs are hermetically sealed, inorganic in construction and designed to withstand high temperatures, vibration, radiation and seismic loads.
The K1-qualifiable sensor technology is complemented by K3-qualifiable components for use Outside Containment, including the SXL signal conditioner, a heavy-duty 19" rack and an EMC-protected wall-mounted cabinet. The signal conditioner can be installed flexibly up to 200 m from the sensor, for example outside containment in the control room.
This creates a modular and fully coordinated measurement chain, from the sensor and connection technology through to signal processing.
With the SXL series, eddylab provides a complete LVDT system solution for reliable position measurement under extreme environmental conditions.
